Blowpipe set in mahogany case (27.4 x 12.3 x 8.2 cm).
The set contains many separate items like blowpipe, spirit
lamp, hammer, anvil, agate mortar & pestle, forceps,
tweezers, test tube holder, chisel, magnet, file, scissors,
cobalt glass, reagents, etc.
In the lid of the case is the trade label of "T.
LETCHER. TRURO, Cornwall." Second half 19th century. |

Multi-layer
blowpipe set
Multi-layer blowpipe set in chamois lined mahogany case
(31.2 x 23.8 x 17.9 cm) with three removable wood trays
fitted for the instruments. The set contains many individual
pieces, including: blowpipe, agate mortar & pestle,
hammer, burner, scissors, several sets of tweezers, balance,
assorted glassware, porcelain ware, etc.
In the lid of the case is the trade label of: "Chemische
u. pharmaceutische | Apparate | W.F. NOELLNER | Darmstadt".

Blowpipe set
Blowpipe set consisting of two wooden boxes in a cloth carrying case with leather fittings and belts. The upper box (30.5 x 17 x 7 cm) contains the blowpipe and related analytical implements. The lower box (30.5 x 17 x 15 cm) with one tray containing various tools, and reagents in wooden containers. Under the tray there is a large space containing glass bottles, test tubes, containers for oil or alcohol, etc.
