Multi-layer blowpipe set in chamois lined mahogany case (31.2 x 23.8 x 17.9 cm) with three removable wood trays fitted for the instruments. The set contains many individual pieces, including: blowpipe, agate mortar & pestle, hammer, burner, scissors, several sets of tweezers, balance, assorted glassware, porcelain ware, etc.
In the lid of the case is the trade label of: "Chemische u. pharmaceutische | Apparate | W.F. NOELLNER | Darmstadt". Middle 19th century.
