Hand spectroscope

Stainless steel hand spectroscope (length 11 cm) with an adjustable eyepiece on one side and an adjustable slit on the other side. On the block a drum with the wavelength scale on it with a division in intervals of 20nm, starting at 435 nm to 750 nm. By turning the knurled knob on the side of the instrument, the spectrum moves across the field of view while the bright line remains fixed. The instrument comes with the original stand with glass table and mirror. It is in its original sleeve of blue velvet and blue silk. Signed "NEDOPTIFAā€¯ Utrecht | 3408", Ca. 1950
