Grace’s-pattern hand spectroscope made of lacquered brass (length 10 cm) with adjustable prism via rack and pinion and turning wheel-operated draw-tube focusing in the original shaped and plush-lined leather-covered case (11 cm x 7 cm); the pale blue silk-lined lid with the gilt-tooled crest and maker's device for JOHN BROWNING.
