Mitscherlich type goniometer (brass) with telescope, engraved silvered scale (0.5 degree) and vernier read-out with twin adjusting wheels and fine adjustment. Blackened brass base. In glass fronted wooden cabinet. Diameter circle 10.9 cm.
Signed on the base "VOIGT & HOCHGESANG | GÖTTINGEN", second half 19th century.
