Early Wollaston type goniometer (brass) with engraved scale and vernier read-out with twin adjusting wheels, raised on an inverted V-frame, on mahogany plinth base (cut at edge). Diameter circle 11.2 cm. Stored in a plush-covered ebonized base and glass dome. Signed on circle "Cary London", ca. 1815.
